Weekend

On saturday, I went to Minnesota to buy Japanese food.
When I arrived I was so happy to see Japanses writing and Japanese food!!
I bought too much so I'm afraid to check my balance.
But on sunday I had to work on my math presentation so I was kind of busy.
Yeah, you heard it right... MATH presentation...
I've never heard of a presentation in math before too. Since my math class is Earth Algebra, it has stuff to do with the environment. So I did mine on food waste. Actually it went pretty well. I'm just happy it's over.

Election

The election last week was kind of a big deal. I heard that some of my friends had to watch TV for HW or something. Actually I had fun watching the election, though I was tired of saying "Sorry I can't vote!"
BTW there's a city in Japan called Obama city, and the people from Obama city was cerebrating!!! I was so embarrassed...haha
There's no point cerebrating in Japan... But it was kind of funny.

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

Friday was halloween!!
I haven't celebrated halloween (or done anything for halloween) since 4th grade so I was pretty excited.
I went to my host families place to trick or treat.
Because I used to go to an International school in Japan, I have experienced halloween a several times. But I have never done trick or treating before.
The trick or treating  was so much fun. I got a lot of candy.
After that I went to a party. People were dressed up in funny costumes.
I'm pretty sure I saw Tim, Luis and Johannes there! Nice costume!!
I had a very very good time.
I hope everyone had a happy halloween!!! :)

Folk fair~!!!

Yayyyy!!
I had so much fun at the folk fair today!!!
I wore a traditional Japanese dress called a yukata.
It was funny when every person I met called it a kimono. Yukatas are for the festivals and you wear it in summer. Kimonos are more expensive, and the cloth is more thicker than the yukatas.
This is my picture from the folk fair.

Does someone know who he is???? lol
He wanted me to take a picture with him but I didn't get a chance to catch his name...
funny african^^
I love these events~!!!

Penny

This friday I went to my host family's house to watch a movie made by Akira Kurosawa.
It's a really old movie, but we enjoyed watching it.

Well, maybe you guys are wondering who this beautiful girl is...:)
This is my host family's cat Penny. She is adorable, cute and awesome.
When I was watching the movie, she crawled up on my lap and started sleeping.
I couldn't move because I didn't want to wake her up!!!!
Animals are lovely... I'd love to get a dog or a cat someday. I just LOVE animals.
Do you love animals?

Devils Lake

Hi
How was your weekend?
Mine was okay. It was fun. On saturday we went to Devils lake.
It was a two hour drive from Eau Claire. The weather and the view was really awesome.
I also went to some parties. It's fun going to parties because you can make a lot of friends and talk.
I have a lot of things to do, and I know I have to do them but I can't start doing it.
I should seriously start now.

See you.

Zoo

Hi ;)
Is everyone doing okay?

Yesterday me and my roommate and her friends gathered up and went to the zoo in Minneapolis.
It was a long drive but I was sleeping the whole time so it didn't feel that long to me.
We saw a lot of animals, like monkeys dolphins and tigers and so much more.
I took about 200 photos so my memory card got full. It took a long time uploading  all my pictures on facebook. :p
It was fun, but I feel a little tired now.

I hope you guys had a nice weekend.
See you tomorrow.

OMG!!!!!

I found out about something...!!!!

It was about three days ago I was reading Of mice and men. Actually, I was starting to like the story. Because I found out that George is kind of cool and Lennie is cute.

After I read like 2 chapters I was looking at wikipedia.(not wikispace! lol)
Well Anyway, unconsciously I was looking at an actors page in wiki.
The actors name is Gary Sinse, he is the actor that I really really like.(I mean love lol) Maybe some of you know him as Mac Taylor from CSI:NY or Lieutenant Dan from Forrest Gump.

So I was looking at his Career, and in his career I found a movie called OF MICE AND MEN!!!!!!!!!!
You can't imagine how surprised and happy I was!!! lol
I knew that he was in a movie called Mice and men, but the japanese title of that movie was 二十日鼠と人間、which means just [a mouse and men (actually human)] it sounds the same but it's really different if you understand japanese(or maybe chinese!)

This is why on the weekends, I'm probably going to rent and watch the movie Of Mice and Men(if i have time ;p )
Anyone who want's to watch with me, let me know!!
Let's watch it together~!!((If you don't mind me screaming because of Gary hahahahaha))
I'll stop here because I'm starting to sound like Jessie~!! haha just kidding!!

Well that's the stupid thing that I happened to notice ^^
C ya guys later!!!!

UWEC

Hi, thanks for coming to my blog.
Actually this is my 3rd or 4th blog I'm having now, so it may be hard for me but I'll try to write once in a while.

I've been here in America for almost a month! I still can't believe I'm really in America.
I think I'm okay with most of the things here, but I'm already getting tired of the food. Everything here is big...(And I have to say it's not so good) Well it depends on what you eat, but I feel like the things in the cafeteria are always the same. I really miss rice and fish.
Though I'm missing Japanese food, I don't really miss my home.
I hear some people are missing their home country so bad.
It's funny because I never get homesick. When I was in pre-school I went to Canada with my teacher for 2 months but I never missed home.(Though I missed the rice!)

Well anyway, I'm so loving Eau Claire and I love the University.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend!!
I got to do my HW!!!!
See you soon!
